“An Australian eLearning platform that emulates the educational benefits of one-on-one tutoring has won a major global award for learning impact, jointly awarded to the University of New South Wales and the educational technology “spin out”, Smart Sparrow.
The IMS Global Learning Consortium (IMS GLC) announced on 17 May 2013 the results of the worldwide annual competition at Learning Impact 2013. Fourteen finalists recently exhibited at the conference and were evaluated by an independent expert panel and Learning Impact conference attendees who judged the finalists on their high impact use of technology to support and enhance teaching and learning.”
